Mr. Harms uses his considerable technical skills to render the fine detail of his still life

using a large-format negative, then scanning and manipulating the image for this dramatic

effect.  The lighting and dramatic stage set is reminiscent of haunting film noir.  Mr. Harms

continues to move back in time, photographically speaking, and recently completed a
